north along the east coast of Australia. Follow the beautiful
NSW Coast before crossing the border into Queensland, past the
Sunshine and Gold Coasts and on to the Heritage listed
Whitsunday passage via the Great Sandy Straits, Fraser Island,
Lady Musgrave and Percy Islands. Escape the stresses of day to
day life and experience the beauty of starry nights, dolphins
riding the bow, whales breaching, sunrise and sunset over a
distant horizon.

Airlie Beach Race Week
Formerly known
as Hogs Breath Race Week, this regatta may have changed its
name but the experience is still the same. Join us for the
opening Whitsunday regatta that combines serious racing with a
lot of fun.
From the 10th
to 17th of August, six days racing in a highly
competitive fleet is combined with sunshine, warmth and seven
nights of fun, rum, tall tales and sore limbs. The “Tropical
Shirt Regatta” is not to be missed.

Hamilton Island Regatta
Starting 18th
of August, the regatta attracts top level boats and sailors
from around Australia and the world. If you love your racing –
you can’t miss this!
Experience the
thrill of racing amongst the pros in the competitive but fun
Cruising Division!
Spend your
days racing amongst the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, spend
your nights joining 2000 like minded crew at the yacht Club
swapping stories and partying the night away. Off the race
track, join us as we take in the legendary Whitehaven Beach
Party on lay-day, take part in the Mardi Gras parade or
observe it all with a cold drink in hand.

The Boat
This year we
are taking our luxury Beneteau
473, equipped for both racing and cruising comfort! We have
limited live aboard places for both Airlie and Hamilton Race
weeks.
The Crew
You are our
crew; we’ll be providing your skipper and deckhand. Your
skipper is a highly experienced Yachtmaster Instructor who has
travelled the East Coast of Australia many times and knows all
the best spots. In addition to which he has many Hamilton and
Airlie Race Weeks under his belt, he knows those race courses
like the back of his hand, and of course there will be a
deckhand on board who is on standby to show you the ropes
(literally!)
