This is your bareboat
licence…to charter in Sydney Harbour...and
beyond.
This course is all about
pilotage, boat handling, seamanship
and navigation - to give you the confidence to skipper
a yacht in sheltered waters.
We recommend
3 months sailing in between
the Competent Crew and Inshore
Skipper’s courses
(although fast tracking is available with our
Australian Sailing
Adventures).
This will allow you to build upon
your skills and give you a platform where you can benefit
fully from the skipper's course.
We use a wheel steered Scanyacht 391.
Topics include:
At the
conclusion of this course you should be able to skipper a
cruising boat in
sheltered waters in confidence.

with Simply Sailing and you are entitled to 10%
off the full day
bareboat price of the Scanyacht 391.
