Now that holidays are a
distant memory, I finally get around to emailing you to say
thanks for such a great Boxing Day!!
All the "crew" (I guess
we could loosely call ourselves that, although "spectators"
might be a better term!) really enjoyed the day throughout -
from being picked up in a pretty convenient location, to
doing some light sailing, to seeing the start of the race
and the pursuing boats, to the swim at lunch....I could go
on.
Anyway, thanks again
for taking us out and making it such a relaxing day.

once while scuba diving and that panic feeling engulfed me

useful course, particularly after having done the
competent crew and some crewing in Saturday races.
The "heddy" course exposed just how little I actually knew
about the sail at the front of the boat. After 3
intensive hours of instruction and practice around the
Harbour, I felt a lot happier about what was happening and
more importantly what should be happening. My
tacking had improved and the pole drills gave me a head
start with learning how to work a spinnaker."
